Not sure what to say?

Hi Beverly. It's Brett Guerin from Melbourne Australia here. I hope you remember Janet and me from our visit in 1987. You and Roger were such gracious hosts for more than a week, introducing us to your friend Skip and his wife with whom we all travelled in their van for a few days to Mammoth Mountain! We remember our time with you fondly. Please accept our condolences on the passing of Roger who was a kind and decent man.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF ROGER WILSON
Feb 27, 1936 to June 27, 2012
Already one year has passed since we all lost Roger. I am sharing with you a special photo which I talk to every night which is next to my bed. This photo was taken by me on our 50th wedding anniversary cruise with our family. Roger loaded our cabin with flowers everywhere for me that day - September 7, 2007. This photo talks to me. I feel like he is there full of love for me...

LIGHT A CANDLE

Light a candle; see it glow.
Watch it dance when you feel low.
Think of me, think of light.
I'll always be here, day or night.
A candle flickers out of sight,
But in your heart I still burn bright.
Think not of sadness that I'm not near.
Think of gladness and joyous cheer.
I have not left, I am not gone.
I'm here to stay my little one.
So when you light a candle
See it glow, watch it dance,
And in your...

Well it's been a year already! I know you watch over all of us, even here down under when we take to the skies in our police helicopter each day and night. It is nice knowing you are with us, a Sheriff in the back keeping us safe.

I only met Roger once while he and Beverly were traveling in Toronto. He left a lasting impression on us. To this day we still talk about Roger and Beverly. Roger was an awesome person with a big heart.

It is a year now since Roger passed away. It is a tribute to him that Bev does not forget him for a single day. What strength of love! What a tremendous person to be able to ignite such a degree of love in another person.

Whenever I think of Roger, I see his big smile and hear his hearty laugh. He put all of himself into life and to be in his company was a joy. His love for Bev was evident and so heartwarming to see. I just know you're there, Roger, watching over your Bev. and you must be so proud of her and how she is going forth with courage and her great personality. Have a great adventure where ever you are. Thank you for your service to make our lives a safer and better place to live.

Roger was a loving and kindhearted person with a wonderful sense of humor. He had a very upbeat, welcoming way about him that always made us feel at home.
We miss you, Roger, but know you are happy up there with Our Heavenly Father.

Hi Roger,
It's been a year since you have left us for better pastures. Still see your smile and big stature in my mind.
Bev just told me a cute story about the ducks that visit your home and pool.
In Buddhism, you do get to come back and be anything you want...A hummingbird, a butterfly or maybe a mallard duck!
So, if you're visiting, come visit me too in my pool! It would put a real big smile on my face and by asking the heavens above, I will know it's you!
