I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to the family and many friends of coach Wrench.I share with you all in this loss. I would like to say that coach Wrench has been the single most influential person in the shaping of my life at a time when I most needed shaping and direction...I will always remember him as my coach and my mentor...I pray for God's richest blessings to continue with the family and friends of coach Wrench...

It was with great sadness that I learned of the death of Coach Wrench. During my high school years in Hilliard, he was a legend among coaches and most especially after the state win in 1965. He will long be remembered in the small town of Hilliard. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
