Great memories of my very best friend ever--rest in peace, old buddy. You left a great legacy!

You will always be among my dearest memories, my friend! Our growing up together was a blessing and your family was so special. As I approach my own ending days, those memories become even dearer. I hope you and Garth are enjoying the afterlife together, as we three musketeers were inseparable for so long. Bless you and all your family.

I never had a better friend and I'm still adjusting to his loss. He will be in my thoughts up until I myself pass, and you will be, too, Liz. I hope you are doing well and please keep in touch. joel

So sad to hear the news that Roger had past away Friday 10/19/18. I was blessed to have Dr. Zabik as one of my professors back in 1979 as I did my graduate studies at WMU. He became a mentor in my life and had a profound influence on my professional life back at that early stage of my life. Roger & I have been able to reunite our friendship over the past 5 plus years as we both attended Second Reformed Church.

I know Roger is now in a better place no more struggles or problems with...

Oh Liz--I am SO sorry to hear this terrible news. Roger was my best friend in the world for so many years growing up, and I can't imagine a world without him. I was so proud of the wonderful life he forged in this world, and only wish I had remained in touch. Roger was so lucky to have found you, as you were the key to his everything. You made such a terrific pair--a veritable destiny of nature, and you and the family have my deepest condolences.
