Rokus de Groot

He was one of the most kind and gentle and wise and strong men you will ever be Blessed enough to meet. I wish I had more time with him in this life, but I can see his Legacy personally live on....'till we meet again!

Mr. DeGroot was a kind, caring man and will be sorely missed by the community and all who knew him. My sympathies go out to his loving family.

Dear Sjany and family:
I first met Rokus when I taught Susie and then later Melissa.
What a happy place the De Groot home is. Sjany and Rokus and Wendy were a light for the children in the home. Now Rokus shines in heaven. I know he will be deeply missed.

I have the pleasure of stating that I knew Rokus for over 30 years. Rarely does someone meet a person as kind and good as Rokus. He will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Je zal altijd in mijn hart blijven als een man die heel speciaal was voor mij. Altijd stond je klaar voor iedereen en het meest opvallende was dat je dat allemaal heel vanzelfsprekend vond. Nooit schepte je op wat je deed allemaal . De kinderen waren dol op je en jij had een engelen geduld. Heb nog nooit gezien dat het je teveel werd.
