I lost touch with Rolland a number of years ago but never forgot him; only recently discovering he passed in 2019. Almost immediately after starting to work at Memorial; Rolland became an advisor, mentor and good friend. Until we meet again my friend.

Greatest guy in the world. He was my inspiration to become an anesthesiologist. He was incredibly kind to students, interns and residents. He lives on through everyone that knew him.

So sorry I was just informed of Roland's passing. I had the pleasure of working with him since a resident in Philadelphia. He was very kind to me when I joined the Memorial staff. Deepest sympathy to Soo Jin.

Dr. Allard and I have been co-worker/friends since 1999 at the Surgical Center of York. He was always kind and willing to talk to you and share his knowledge. We unfortunately have lost contact since I left in 2013 following my stroke . I will always remember him and his kindness and smile. Condolences to the family. Karen Fralich
