Roland V. Ashley

There are times in life when, through the pain, you find blessings. Grandma's life was difficult, but she raised four truly great sons - 3 of which I am lucky to have as uncles and the other the best of fathers - and all of whom I'm proud to call family. Since dad has been gone, Uncle Roland has been a closer friend, a source of humor (Gemini style), and my rock. He's greatly missed already, but the love, respect and admiration will last forever.

I will always remember the DeMolay days that my father, brother and I spent with the Ashleys. Roland was a great role model for us as teenagers on how to be good citizens, friends, neighbors and leaders. What an inspiration! God bless all of you.

I'm truly sorry for the loss of your loved one. He was truly a good father based on raising such great people in Brian and Paul. He was a man that gained respect the minute you met him based on his strong morales and values. God has truely gained a true gentleman to sit with him in heaven. May God comfort the Ashley family during this tough time. And please let me know if there's anything I can do.
