Roland was a wonderful mentor, leader, friend, co-author and so much more during the 8+ years we worked together at the Portland VAMC. Rolands inquisitive mind & willingness to challenge the status quo was invaluable as he led a team of clinicians, educators & researchers that did our best to understand & treat Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in veterans, especially those who were in Vietnam.
