Not sure what to say?

The weekend that Roland was to marry Willie, Rose and I hitched a ride with Roland to Athens to stay with Mama Stella. Roland never ran into strangers, he had the gift to make small talk. That Friday night, it was freezing cold and we were in one of those speed trap locations when we had a flat or ran out of gas. Shortly, a police officer drives up. Oh Lord, Roland got out of the car and started talking to the police officer about football. We were on our way by the next hour, Roland got...

I worked with Roland out at Lockheed NASA/JSC for years up until 1985. He was the nicest, kindest, funniest man I've ever known. He was a joy to know and work with. He will forever be missed. My deepest condolences to his family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless.

We were saddened to learn of Bubba's death. Our family will truly miss him. Please know that we are not far, should you ever need us. Love, Kim and Donald Mayo

To Willie and rest of the family,my Condolences to you all may God bless you all.

When my daddy Roland passed you stood in the gap. Even the night before he passed and said he wanted to have a long conversation with me, I got to have it with you. I thank you for accepting me into your family and home. The holidays we spent together and lunches and even my birthday will not be forgotten. Your spirit was so bright and beautiful! It was a pleasure to be there for you, even on your last night. Thank you !!!!!!!

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.
