My condolences to the Etter family. I always enjoyed my brief encounters with Max at the courthouse. He was so proud of his younger brothers, Bill and John, seldom taking about himself. He was a true example of humility for all!

Uncle Max- you were always a unforgettable presence & we will miss you. Thank you for always helping to serve others, and making us laugh along the way. When we had our little boy in November 2019 we knew he had to be a Max in our family's honor. Looking forward to teaching him about you as an example of hard work, fun & Etter legend. We love you!

Sue and family composed a beautiful narrative about Max's life. Thank you very much for that. Our friendship started in Spokane and we eventually found each other attending school in So. Calif. Our career paths took us in different directions, but we always stayed in touch. You do not want to lose contact with a special friend like Max.Good Bless and family and all the Etter"s. This is a tough one to let go.Sincerely, Pete Anderson.

Max was one of my Dearest Friends!I knew Max when we were in grade school, he went to Hutton, and I went to Grant. We were in the same home room for four years at LC. Later on in life I took Max into the Masonic Lodge, and the Shrine. I appointed him as a member of the Shrine Hospital Board, when I was Potentate .I will miss him very much.
