Not sure what to say?

Presente', Roland Fisher, Airman who lived to tell his story of valor!

Rest Roland, until you hear at dawn, the low, clear reveille of God. Thank you for your service to this nation. Royal Air Force and transferred to the U.S. Army Air Force, WWII. DFC recipient. Captain.

I often spoke with Roland about his war experiences. He was a frequent shopper at Safeway in Lake Oswego. He shared some of his dramatic flying experiences with me, especially the event when he hit a Japanese plane and each pilot thought the other pilot had been killed. I wish to thank him for his service to his country. I will miss him.

We offer our deepest sympathy to Tom, Mark, Irma and the grandchildren. Roland was a guy who made a real difference during his life. Over my life I've thought of him with admiration.

I drew Rolands' blood at the Legacy Lake Oswego Lab. I was so sad to hear of his passing. I thought so much of him and I will miss him coming in for his occasional blood draw. May you be greatly comforted at this difficult time.

My deepest condolances on the loss of Roland. Roland hired me at Waterway Terminals 33 years ago, and I learned a great deal about leadership from watching him doing his job. While the company has changed names several times over the years, many of us who worked for Roland still work there and endeavor to provide the care and dedication to the business that are a part of his legacy. The 150 people who currently work at the Distribution Centers, myself included, all owe our jobs to Roland. ...

So sad to hear that you have lost Ronald. It was touching to know that all those he held dear had surrounded him in a loving circle.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
