HADDAD, Roland "Rollie" - Of Lapeer, age 83, died Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
Funeral service will be held 10am Saturday, October 19, 2019 at St. George Orthodox Church, 5191 Lennon Road, Flint,
The Very Reverend Father Joseph Abud officiating.
Burial in Grand Lawn Cemetery in Detroit.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation 4-8pm Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Trisagion Service will be held 7pm Friday evening at the funeral home. Visitation 9am Saturday at church until the time of the service.
Roland was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 20, 1936, the son of the late Gibran and Lettie (Courey) Haddad. Rollie was a member of Lapeer Eagles #2427 and St. George Orthodox Church.
Surviving are children, Wendy Martin of Tennessee, Gilbert Haddad, Jill and husband Ray Watkins of Chesterfield Township and Ily and husband John David Hill of Tennessee;
8 grandchildren;
Siblings, Ronald Haddad of Lapeer, Valland and husband George Franji of Georgia, Jackie Wheatt of Southfield and Rhoda Wheatt of Southfield;
And many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by parents, and sister, Joretta Haddad.
