Not sure what to say?

Dear Uncle Bing,
Dr. Uncle Bing, rather. I will never forget the time we came to see you in Atlanta and you took us out for pizza. AAAAND... we introduced you to the phenomenon of Spontaneous Human Combustion. I never heard someone laugh so hard, but, at the same time you were so gracious. I wish I had gotten whatever gene it was that made you so smart. I'm so proud to have been related to you. You are missed.
Love,
Katie

My Dear Brother,
I know that you are having the ultimate Christmas! It must be a purely wonderful celebration up there. The world you left behind is a little crazier everyday. We all miss you more than words can tell. Please save us a place. I'll see you later!
Love,
Mary Florence

We were blessed to have Roland as a teacher and mentor. Many thanks to his family for sharing him with us and with the world.

Roland served as an inspiration to all. During my second year residency at Grady Memorial Hospital I spent two months with Roland on the Pulmonary service. He was a soft spoken,
thoughtful, insightful physician and the reason I have spent my past 40 plus years as a pulmonary physician.

Dear Marguerite, I saw the notice in the Yale Alumni News That came today. Though we have not been in recent contact I remember Roland very well from his brilliance at Yale to our contact in Japan. We both send our condolences. Edward and Roxanne Socolow

A wonderful man and teacher- you will be greatly missed.

We are all diminished by the loss of one of the giants of our profession and our generation. Roland will be remembered by all he touched as a warm and caring intelligence, a builder of institutions and careers, and an unequaled role model.

Dear BROTHER, as your Mother would say(In love) To the brother I never had. I will miss you, from the room, the taking in My family in Hiroshima Japan the Christmas's of 62, to the walk's on Sanibel beaches finding sea shells that you loved, to all the quiet things that you did. I Loved YOU . Bo.

I can't imagine a world without you in it. You are my wonderful brother and my hero. Love always. Til we meet again, Your older sister, Ginny
