Not sure what to say?

A wonderful man! Blessed to have known him!

Kathy and Carole, we are so sorry to hear about your Dad. We have fond memories of times spent with you and your Dad. Love, Penny and Julie Ponsell

Please accept my heart felt sympathy for the loss of your loved one. May the God of all comfort strengthen you at this time of sadness. May God promises for the future bring you peace. Hosea 13:14

I worked with Roland between 1959 and 1965 and he was the most wonderful, generous, fair, and respectful man I have ever met. He send a card when my father died in 2005 and it meant so much to me. When I think of him, I always think of how he would put reminders on his tie, so he wouldn't forget. He spelled like the word sounded. He cared for people and I know we all respected him for that.

I worked at the Barnett downtown office back in the 80's and 90's. Roland was an ICON...he always had a smile on his face and he genuinely care about people!! I used to watch for him to come through the bank lobby because it meant that something good was about to happen or to tell a joke! The most important thing was he always spoke. He was a Super human being! Loved him... there will never be another Roland Kennedy! Rest In Peace my friend.....

my (Lee)Sunday School teacher at Main St. Baptist here. He reached out to make everybody around
him feel important. Years ago, when I was visiting him when he was vice president of, then,
Barnett Bank, we were walking down the hall and passed the Office of President. He stuck
