Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know Mr. King however I recently recovered a wooden clock with "USS Lexington" painted on it. It was my grandfathers (Jack Hankins) who also served on the USS Lexington, he passed back in the early 1980's. Roland King's address label was on the back of the clock, I'm assuming it was from him, made by him or something of the sort. Wedgee was a very good friend in my Uncle Francis life. I will remember all the hunting, fishing, and just plain visits to Vermont. The fun that they had together, laughing, telling stories. He will be greatly missed in his children's life. He was truly a family man.

I will never forget our ride in the Jeep heading up the mountain, with Patty-Ann singing :Oh Sweetpea"...ever since then, Weggie always called me "Sweet Pea"...you will be missed...God Bless!
