Not sure what to say?

I am late signing Mr. La Voie's Guest Book. Mr. La Voie was my English teacher during my Junior year at Cherry Hill East back in 1985. He always had a big smile in class and I still remember him fondly. I have thought about him over the years and am sorry for his passing. He always had great stories and gave life to the literature he taught his students.

Roland captivated countless adults and children with his layout demonstrations at Greenburg train shows. My three sons would seek him out at each show we attended. Roland was a "regular" at Joe's Train Station in Feasterville, PA where I had the pleasure of getting to know him. He was a talented individual whose gift for teaching was evident every time he had an opportunity to share his love of trains with others. Roland will be warmly remembered and deeply missed by those of us who were...

To the LaVoie family,

As the days go by, may the God of comfort provide a measure of peace to you and provide comfort to you during this difficult time. 2 Cor. 4:7

My son,Ryan & I, looked forward to the train shows since Lionel 027's were our favorite & Mr. La Voie always made the exhibition most enjoyable. I did teach social studies at East with Roland. May you ride the big Lionel train in the Heavens & look down on all your past glories.

I'm certain that Roland will forever be remembered by many for his passions for teaching and enjoying toy trains. I recall him to be a regular at Greenberg Toy Train Shows where he displayed and demonstrated an elaborate layout of Lionel trains & accessories. Above all, Roland was a gentle soul who was quick with a friendly smile and willingness to share his knowledge and wisdom. Rest in peace, Roland.
