Not sure what to say?

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Roland always had a smile on his face. He loved to joke. Growing up I remember camping on the "Kanc" with the Libby's and Roland always made it fun for us kids. My thoughts and prayers go out to Dee Dee, also to Cindy, Debbie, Alan and their families.

We would like to extend sincere condolances to DeeDee and the family at this time. I missed seeing you both driving by Sunday mornings on your way to church, a weekly reminder good folks lived just down the road a piece...May you find solace in good memories and may they always bring a smile. Gaye & Graydon Hodgdon

Roland was a kind man who always had a big smile for everyone. He was quite the jokester! Roland loved his family very much - he was so proud of them.

I learned something last month when Roland was in the Hospital. I was surprised to learn he was Smokey the Bear! Imagine how many kids he got dressed up for and how much they adored "Smokey". I know everytime I see Smokey the Bear I will think of Roland - what an Icon! Always wondered why my brother John called him "Smokey" now...

I have many fond memories of Uncle Roland. In the spring time he and my Dad (Uncle Bud) would tap maple trees to collect sap for making maple syrup and they would always let my brother and I help with the process. I would look forward to seeing his smiling face at the annual Turkey raffle when he handed out tickets at the Ossipee Fire Department. I had one of the best childhoods anyone could ask for and that was because of the whole Libby family.
All of my Love,

i will never for get Roland, he was one of the nicest people i have ever know . he never judged any one was all way their if you needed him
i remember when my kids was small , we would go to the fire department for the turkey ruffle and he would always come to the kids with a big smile and give them one ticket each ( you would have though he had gave them a hundred bucks ) they never won but will ill telly you he made their night . Roland you will be missed and DE DE am so sorry for...

It was a great morning, wasn't it dad. The sun was shining, the view of the mountains was clear and the birds were singing just like you said they would be. There isn't any more "itty bitty", but there is plenty of tapioca and whipped cream. I love you daddy, and my heart is empty, but I see your smile, and I know you are at peace. You can rest assured just like I said. With all my love forever, Cin

My greatest memory with him was many years ago when Big grandpa and Grandma came down to Kansas for a visit. Big Grandpa was laying on a hammock in the back yard and my brother and i started to cover him in leaves. It was a lot of fun and a great memory. I give him and the family all my love.
