Roland Schwab

I am so sad to hear of his passing. I really enjoyed chatting with him this past summer at our Class of 63 get together. He made a big impact on my life. He was my biology teacher. I was sure I couldn't disect that pig or anything else He very calmly encouraged me and taught me how to get through something I didn't think I could do. Rollie was my colleague and friend for many years. I could always count on his razor-sharp wit to keep me honest and humble His sense of humor was matched only by his genuine warmth. Losing Rollie leaves a hole in the lives of all who knew him. I wish his family peace and blessings during this tough time. We'll miss you, old friend.

Counselor to our kids and a friend of ours, Rollie was a solid guy whose wit was rarely matched. Our move away from Ann Arbor diminished our get-togethers, but we did have fun, didn't we, Mary? Our sympathy to you and yours.

Mr. Schwab was my guidance counsler throught high school. He never turned away a student in need of advice or a friendly shoulder to lean on. He encouraged all he worked with to strive for excellence and continue their education. His help and support helped me reach my goals. I was saddened to hear of Roland's passing as he was always smiling and full of humor. Working side by side with him at Big George's camera department was indeed a pleasure. My
