We may be miles away but we are with you in spirit

We are deeply saddened by news of Roland's passing. He was very creative and brought a fun-loving youthfulness into his art. We will miss his wicked humour, spontaneous wit and the fantastic photographs he takes. May he rest peacefully in the gentle arms of the Lord. Our prayers are with Aunt Velma, Rolanda and Brett. God Bless you all from Sally, Lawei and Arata Baffour

I love you, Daddy

Dr. Watts and family, I am sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Watts was such a wonderful person. I enjoyed seeing him coming to work at WSSU looking like he was heading to a real social event! As the department secretary for a few years, helping Mr. Watts re-type his test was one of my favorite jobs. God called home one of the good ones!

Roland will be greatly missed as he played an important role in my life and was a wonderful person.

I was saddened to learn of the passing of Mr. Roland S. Watts. He was my art professor and I used what I learned from him as I went on to teach.
It was always a pleasure to speak to him at homecoming events in recent years. Ruth Allred Robinson '65
