Not sure what to say?

I offer my deepest condolences to Dr. Hinojosa-Smith´s family and friends. I was fortunate to have studied with him in my undergraduate time at UT Austin. Those classes were the most stimulating, enjoyable and life changing I experienced in academics. His writing and interactive lectures were life changing for me. Not only was I able to establish my sense of place, but realized what was valuable in this life. His care and interest in me as a person has always been treasured. Rest...

I’m so sorry for your loss. My dad, Dan Cano, spoke often about Rolando and growing up in Mercedes. My dad wondered how he was after he no longer heard from him. I’m sure they’re having a great reunion in heaven. My aunt, Margaret, sent me this article. Sending thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to the family and especially also to the Chicano family. We share your sympathy and sadness.

My condolences.
