To The Harris Family,

Please accept my sincere condolences and may God comfort you during this difficult time. As a former VSU Majorette, I remember Gayle providing positive encouragement to us through those many hours of practice. Her continued dedication to VSU's Marching Band is immeasurable.

To the Miles Family,

My heart breaks to hear of Gayle's passing. When I would visit our Richmond office, Gayle is one of the persons I wanted to make sure I saw before I left. Even in the midst of her pain, she was very positive and thinking of others. She was an asset to our company who enriched my life and so many others. She will be missed.

May God's love comfort you in your sorry.

How inspiring it was to march with her this homecoming. My heart knows that we all now have a very special angel watching over us from heavens door. May her family and closest friends be strengthened and empowered with understanding and love. Toniraye Moss Essence of Troy Alumni

To the Miles Family, my heart is broken. I will miss her terribly. I called her every year during homecoming, and she would always tell me what was happening in Petersburg. May God Bless your family. Her former Dean and Sorority Sister.

My thoughts and prayer are with you and your family. I was saddned to hear of your lost and felt blessed that I got to spend time with Rolaunda at Homecoming (VSU). She shared her memories of us pledging, I can still hear her laughing. God Bless.

I am truly sorry to hear of Gayle's death. My name is Robin Mitchell (now Scott) and I was a majorette along with Gayle at Virginia State and I cherish the times we spent together. She was a very kind and sweet person. Please accept my sincere condolences to her entire family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers!
