Not sure what to say?

Sorry to hear of Ron's passing and we are thinking of the family. Ron will be missed by many. I will miss fishing with him too. Take care, Rick and Michelle Tschantz

So sad for the families loss,I remember Ron from R.G. Drage vocational school.
He picked up my brother and dragged him to school because he was not going and almost failing because he missed to much school.
I also Remember working for him and his wife doing wood working for Yankee Peddler after high school. And eating lunch with his family,
once again I am so sorry for your loss he was a great man.

We are so sad to hear of Ron's passing. He was a great friend and fellow educator. I greatly admired Ron's willingness to help others in any way he could. He loved his family and people in general. He will be greatly missed by the many people he came in contact with over the years. Our deepest sympathies and thoughts and prayers go out to his family. May you rest in peace our good friend.

Your dad was a good man and friend of my dad's. I remember his warm smile and authenticity. Peace be with you all.

I remember Ron from York Elementary.I was a teacher. That seems so long ago. He was a very nice man. I remember his smile. He did a fine job. May God Bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Sincerely Linda Peterson

He is sure to be missed. We lost a great man and educator. My family just so happened to be at Kent Stage to see Asleep at the Wheel on 04/21-15. Guess who was standing out front ? Ron was,we had a nice talk and he was friendly as always. He will be missed. The Darlington Family

sadly missed and loved always

Our heartfelt thoughts are with the Gerstenmaier family. We hope that your good memories comfort you during this difficult time. It was a pleasure to know Ron and he will be missed by so many.

Our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with each and every one of you. Growing up I always felt a part of your family and you all a part of mine. Between all the sleepovers, boating, Yankee Peddler, Barberton games, MHS band, Parasson's, majorettes, we have a lot of history and I will always be here for you when you need me! Cry when you need to, laugh about the good memories and lean on God for His support.

Love - Roy, Michelle, Asia, Devin, Braylon & Alyssa Hawthorne
