My grandfather was the greatest man in the world! Words can't even explain how much he meant to me. He touched lives all over the world. I am very sorry to hear about your loss of your husband and father. Crick was a very special man to many people and touched so many people in many differnt ways. Crick became my brother when my other brother, Keith Wardrop, emerged from a car accident at 18 as a paraplegic. Crick was part of his rehabilitation, a role model for how to go on with life. And Keith did go on with life, until cancer took him at 59 years old, about 30 years longer than he was expected to survive.
