Rolland was and will always be my grandpa. I think his sense of humor and playfulness was his greatest virtue. I think that's what I'll remember most about him -that he was absolutely hilarious! He always wanted to bring laughter into everything he did. I can see him now: walking into a crowded restaurant scene with light-up flashing glasses and sparkly silver cowboy boots on. And then giving his famous elephant call..."ffrrreeeeeeww!!!" and everyone in the room turns their heads. He...

I remember being a child and thinking my dad was the smartest man in the world! I put him on a pedestal...I always looked up to him, as if he was infallible. Whenever I asked him a question, he always seemed to know the answer. He told me, " it is important to ask a lot of questions in life, to never stop learning."
