Researching for a dermotolgist, I remembered the extraordinary kindness of Dr Ackerman. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. My newborn had been diagnosed with a rare skin condition, and while we were at the old Childrens Memorial for his monitoring, she would comfort my concerns during my appts with her. I was a 30year patient of Dr. Ackerman. As well as Dr Schwartz being my OBG. I am so, so sorry for your loss. She was a caring and personable doctor who I will miss. My sincere condolences to Dr. Schwartz and his family.

I am so shocked, and saddened, after hearing about Dr. Ackerman's death. I only had about 5 appointments with her, she was a very caring doctor,and,a great person.

I just learned of Dr. Ackerman's passing. She was a wonderful Dermatologist. My disabled son was a patient of hers for a very long time. She was very kind and a caring person.

I am saddened to hear of Dr. Ackerman's death. I was a trusting patient for many years when I received a letter that her office was in new hands.
