Not sure what to say?

From the day I discovered the original WOWI at age 11 or 12 until well after his last day on air, Rollie was one of the most significant influences in my own musical journey. His graciousness and gentility were superseded only by his knowledge of and passion for all music. And though many were closer, I was also blessed to be his friend. We are all richer because of his life and poorer due to his loss, but the untold fans he influenced will carry on his legacy and pass some of him on. Via con...

Rollie will be sorely missed by his family, his extended family (his many listeners) and his friends which I was lucky enough to be one for 35 years. We met and worked together at WOWI-FM. We always talked on October 24, our Birthday and I will miss those talks for the rest of my life. Rollie you were a talented and knowledgeable announcer but most of all a kind man. My deepest sympathy to your family.

Sincerely,

My deepest sympathy for Rollie's family in this time. As a friend of Molly, I know he was deeply loved by his family.

Rollie was a broadcasting legend,,,and I am glad to say that he was my friend.
My condolences to his Momma and
brother. They are in my prayers.

Rollie gave me ticket for Deep Purple during his WGH days. I did not have tranportation so he took me to Williamsburg. I was a niave kid but he was nothing but a gentleman. Years has passed but I know he lived life so he is now smiling down on those so fortunate to have had touch our lives.

I enjoyed working with Rollie. He taught me a lot, and was one of the nicest people at WHRO. Everyone who worked with him liked and respected him. He was a major reason for our two station's success in the 90's. He will certainly be missed.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived.
