Not sure what to say?

Leigh Bailey passed the news of Rollin's death to me. We're both in the Northampton, MA area. I remember Rollin so well from the days when Jesse and Jaan played together. He was a neat man and seemed oh so glamorous to me. Will send the obituary on to Jesse. Thinking of you, Sheppy, and your family.

Julia and I never knew Rollin that well, but what we knew of him told us what a delightful and thoughtful person he was. What a great loss to to PSBA community and to all his family and friends.
Dave & Julia Marckini

Rollin was as much a part of the port as the birds and trees that make it special. He will be dearly missed. Our prayers are with Sheppy and the rest of the family.

I worked across the isle from Rollin the last two years of his work at WMU. We grew to be good friends and I enjoyed many philosophical conversations with him on a variety of topics. He had a ready laugh and he was a welcome respite from some of the stress we experienced as WMU tried to grow enrollment. I was sadden to learn of his passing.

Thank you for sharing the obituary link. What a life and tribute. What a family. Rollin must be so proud of his family. In typical Douma fashion, you have thought of others along this entire journey, sharing insights and thoughts with everyone you love. Thank you guys. We love you.

I was sad to hear of Rollin's passing. How fortunate I am to have had a chance to know and work with such a kind person. He greeted you with a warm smile, and always took time to listen to whatever your concern. My sympathies to Sheppy and family. God's Blessing be with you. Vonceal Phillips
