Send FlowersRoma Baucom "Jackie" Rushing, 85, passed away Monday, February 1, 2010. She was born in Union County, NC on April 19, 1924 daughter of the late Justus and Lessie Simpson Baucom. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 5, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie "Bill" Rushing and daughter, Tyleda Gail Baldwin. Mrs. Rushing is survived by sons, Johnny B. Rushing, Michael W. Rushing and Ernest C. Rushing all of Monroe, and Jackie Lynn Rushing of Wingate, daughters, Joanne Tarlton of Monroe, Kay Thibault of Charlotte and Laura Anne Ester of Taylorsville, brother, Keith Baucom of Monroe, sisters, Mary Jane Crowell of Indian Trail and Dean Hucks of Concord, 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 222 S.
