Not sure what to say?

This is very late, and In so sorry. I just found out about Roman´s death tonight. Roman was my first huge crush and I learned about football and owe my love of it today to him. He was kind enough to autograph his book for me at the request of a mutual friend and it is and will always be such a treasure to me. I have missed him since his retirement, but never stopped wondering how he was and hoped he was happy. My condolences to his friends and family. He will always be greatly missed by...

Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to write a message. It was very heartwarming and emotional to read all the wonderful comments left here about my Dad. He is missed everyday, but all he memories you shared brings a smile to my face.

Roman Gabriel and I went to the same church when he was with the Rams

My condolences to a heroic quarterback.

THERE WOULD NOT BE A LOS ANGELES NFL FRANCHISE IF NOT FOR # 18 ROMAN GABRIEL.

I just found out about Roman's death. He was always my favorite football player. As an Eagles fan, it was one of the best days of my life when he was traded to the Eagles. Great career with the Eagles and the Rams. Rest in Peace.

Roman Gabriel was my first NFL hero. He was the epitome of the classic "drop back in the pocket" QB. As kids, we loved to emulate his upright, sturdy style. RIP.

Maybe it wasn´t to him, but it was to me. I was a fan from his college days through his pro years. He visited Hibriten High School, Lenoir, NC where I was a teacher. He scrimmaged with our football team, of which my son was a member. Both of us were thrilled to have met him.

Roman came to Hibriten High School, Lenoir, North Carolina, where I was a teacher. I was born a few years after Roman and was a big fan of his when he played at State and in the pros. My son, Tim, met him and Roman "scrimmaged" with the Hibriten High team. Tim said that Roman threw the ball SO hard.
