Dear Family,
On behalf of the Illinois Chapter of the Eighth Air Force Historical Society, we wish to express our sincere sorrow in the loss of one of our members. Roman attended our monthly meetings and we just saw him at our May meeting, which came as a shock to see of his passing. He like thousands upon thousands of young men, who in the prime of their lives went to war in World War II, to preserve the freedoms we enjoy today, let us be thankful for such men.
