Romie was born on May 28, 1924 and passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019. Romie was a resident of Wildwood, Florida at the time of passing. Romie proudly served his nation in the Navy during WWII and fought in the Battle of Normandy on D-Day. Romie became a Mechanical Engineer in the Aerospace sector and worked for NASA and help put Apollo 11 onto the moon. Romie was a member of the Masonic Lodge for several years, was an avid motorcyclist and belonged to several motorcycle clubs.
I just loved when we sat down and talked about all his accomplishments in live! He had his days. But he was an awesome man!
