Rommel's death was a real shock to me and I'll miss joking around with him. Mr. Monica misses him too ;) He will live on in my memories.

Though I did not know Detective Espinola, I am saddened by his death. It is so encouraging to hear of such a wonderful person. The loss of someone like him is tragic on so many levels. My thoughts and prayers go out to his precious son and family.

Thank you, Det. Espinola, for looking out for the Rice students, staff and faculty.

While I never knew Detective Espinola, as a student at Rice, I would like to thank him for serving our community. I will keep his son in my prayers and hope he can endure this unimaginable pain.

Im heartbroken to hear if Rommels death. We met in college at SHSU. He was so nice and down to earth, and always made me laugh. Big belly laughs where you could hardly breathe. I will never forget him. Prayers for his son and family.
