Not sure what to say?

June 9, 2012
I just tried to telephone Ron and discovered that he had passed. What a shock!
A few years ago I went to Cambodia and worked with Ron for a few weeks to try to open up jobs for the children when they leave the orphanage which is one hour outside of the city. Even though he was sick he was tireless. The children loved him and he gave them a lot of hope. A thoroughly giving man!

May prayers are with the family. Mr. Abney touch so many lives in his life. The family can take comfort in Psalms 37:11,29. I hope the scripture will be a source of comfort.

I'm truly sorry to hear of his passing. Lean on God for For strength. Philipians 4:13 says For all things I have.the strength by virtue of him who imparts power to me.

May the God of comfort be with family and friends during this time of distress.

I never knew a finer man or a truer friend. He showed me the way to be a better person and I will be eternally grateful. With respect, admiration and love. Richard Kahan

Ron was a wonderful man and inspirational colleague (I worked with him in Timor and Cambodia). I am indebted to him for introducing me to the kids in Takeo, Cambodia. Ron's tireless support for these children is a truly noble legacy. Our thoughts are with his family.

The world is a better place because of Ron's life. "See you later, kiddo!" Brenda and I send our love and prayers to ease your sorrow and give you comfort.

I am sorry for the loss of your loved one. May the God of all comfort help you in this most difficult time. (2 Cor. 1:3,4)

May God bless Ron's loved ones during this time of sorrow. EvaJane Holland Garrett, Cochran,Ga.
