Not sure what to say?

I still have such great memories of Ron!

Remembering Ron with a smile on my face!!! What a great friend he was!!!

Still so very sad about Ron's passing. I remember him as a gentle man.

I was Googling down memory lane (Thr time machine for backwards travel) and saw one of my favorite DJs of my youth passed. Man,, those were days and nights. Ron, just to let you know, you were my Sunday nights listening to the Subterranean Circus on my old Westinghouse tube radio in my bedroom doing my homework for Monday. But the more important requisite was being able to talk about your program the next day with my pals at the bus stop. You may be physically gone but your in the...

Missing Ron and Peach. They both provided me with warmth and laughs! Miss them so much!!!

Ron and I had an email correspondence lasting several years. I was a listener (and fan) of his radio show on WCFL in Chicago, and always remembered him as one of the most inventive and funny people I'd ever encountered in any form. He was always kind to me when I would gently prod him to write his memoirs. I am most grateful that he touched my life the way he did. I will remember him always. Bless them both.

I know this message is very late? Just found out Ron had passed away last year. I was a young broadcast student in Chicago in 1965-66 and it was because of Ron Britain's encouragement that I spent 35 years in Radio. In the summer of 1980, Ron called me in New Mexico to thank me for the card I sent him. I truly thanked Ron for his mentoring back in the day. We talked for over an hour. Ron was a very kind and special person and someone I looked up to as a young broadcaster. God bless you Ron...

I was so sad to see that Ron had died in today´s newspaper. We lived nearby in Evanston and Peach knew my Mom- she was looking for a babysitter and they hired me in the late 60´s. They were the nicest people and Ron shared his demo 45 records with me. For a teenager at that time who listened to him and others on the radio daily this was huge! They were both such generous spirits and I have wonderful memories of them both. I am so sorry for your loss. May their memories be for a blessing.

Ron was a very dear friend. I met Ron shortly before he and Peach were married. He will be missed and my sympathy to Mark and Nina
