Not sure what to say?

I worked with Ron for a couple of years at the Secretary of State, Illinois. He was always pleasant. We used to kid each other often. In a world of rough and agressive folks a gentle soul like Ron was a great blessing.

Bill, My husband and I knew Ron from the WS singles group , since early 1990's. He was always a kind and generous person with a much-loved quirky sense of humor! We have SO many good memories of Ron and will be praying for you and your family during your time of grief. Ray and Lynne Redick

Ronnie was such a special person. He was always there when I needed a friend. He was such a kind and gentle spirit that lived his life as a true and faithful Christian man. I wish so much that I could call him one more time to tell him how much his friendship meant to me, but I will have to wait until we meet again in Heaven. He is loved and will be greatly missed.

I remember how pleased everyone was the day Ron returned to work after a lengthy absence as he underwent treatment. His spirit remained strong throughout the ordeal, and I hope I can be the same way if I ever go through such a trial. God be with you and your family, Ron.

I met Ron several years ago at a West Side Church singles event. I saw him different times over the years and enjoyed talking to him. I am sad to see him go, but know I'll see him again in heaven someday.

Ron was a faithful member of not only West Side Christian Church but also of our singles ministry. Ron and i became friends in the late 80's and i always appreciated his giving heart and servants attitude. His presence will be missed but many great memories of some great times together will be treasured in our hearts until the day we meet again in heaven and share them once again with each other. Well done good and faithful servant.

Ron was a loving uncle to Walt and delighted in calling him "glumper."
He was very sweet and tried very hard to make everyone happy. He was devoted to his family and church. And he will be remembered for his great love of cars and Indy racing.

I was lucky to know Ron from the WSCC Singles Group. He was always friendly, kind and helpful. He was a caring person and a friend to everyone. I was blessed to have known Ron and consider my life richer for it. Rest in peace, Ron. I am praying for your family and your family at West Side.

I knew Ron as a teen in the youth group at First Christian Church. He was always kind and considerate of others. One time that stands out in my mind is an outdoor trip we were on with the youth group and I was with him when we came to a creek bed. I was perfectly capable of crossing it myself, yet Ron went first and reached back to help me across--at the age of 14. I sadly have not seen Ron since high school, but will always remember his kindness and pure heart. See you on the other side,...
