Ron Lally

I don't know how it is that I have missed hearing about Ron's death until right now. I'm at my desk in far away New Zealand with tears tumbling and a heavy heart. Ron was so kind to me, from the time I first met him as a trainee with PITC back in about '99, through visits to our home in NZ and also in CA. Last time we were in the Bay Area he was exceptionally gracious about the mess my kids made of his immaculate home!

A giant has fallen. We must all strengthen our advocacy for babies...

I am so sorry to hear of Ron's passing. He was an important pioneer in the fields of infant development and early childhood and will be remembered by many for his many contributions. Thanks Ron, for all you've done. Your Syracuse friend, Bill
