Ron Merrifield

It was a sad day for me when I learned of Ron's passing. Ron and Sue were a big part of my early days at Williamston High School. The Merrifields were a driving force in the effort to provide an all weather track for the community. I clearly remember the day that the Williamston Girls won the Class C state Championship. Our condolences to the Merrifeld Family from Jean & Bill Bailey. We were neighbors of Ron And Sue at The Hamptons in Auburndale, Fl. for 15 years. We had lots off fun times and great memories with them. God Bless!!!

Ron was a great guy who treated everyone very kind. He and Sue will always be remembered for all their donations, time and dedication given to their Williamston Track and Cross Country family. He will be sorely missed.
