Ron David Oberman

Ron , was the best human being I have ever met in my life.. I was so lucky to have been his wife for 24 perfect years..never an unkind word, a beautiful heart, and when his heart stopped beating, I was holding him, singing to him, I only wish we could have gone at the same time, I´m lost without him, I will never be the same, I love you Ron.

Ron is missed by all who were fortunate to even once merge into his orbit. A naturally generous spirit, Ron always put others first and brought the best out of any new acquaintence, genuinely believing the best in them instantly. He is likely the only person I ever knew who was completely without prejudice. Never, not once, did I hear a single negative nor discouraging word said, nor writ of this beautiful man; unusual in any arena, but unique in the music industry. Brilliantly smart...

Ron was an amazing person.

He was not only incredibly talented and successful - but was also a good friend with a great sense of humor.

Quite simply, Ron Oberman was truly one of the "good guys".

When someone as special as him passes, I always try to remember "Never shed tears for those who gave more to life than they took away"...

And Ron certainly gave the world ... and the world of music ... much much more than almost anyone.

I will miss my brother Ron and his soft spoken kindness. Though we hadn't lived in the same city since 1967, we shared not just a blood bond, but also the love of writing, music and fond memories of growing up in Silver Spring, MD. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
