Not sure what to say?

My name is Jan DiConti. My husband Marc, stood up to share his testimony @ the memorial, having prayed with Coach Simonson to receive Christ...I'm actually reaching out to your family, to see if there is still a way to purchase the book he wrote (new or used), to give to my husband as a gift. I'm not seeing anything available online. I know Marc would cherish it! Marc went into seminary after we were married, pastored for 6 years, & spent 21 years as a chaplain with sailors &...

Ron's smile was just as generous as his spirit in giving the best of himself to his faith, family, friends and students. My heartfelt condolences as I say farewell to a guy who touched my life with the heart of love from God. Thanks Ron, a real pleasure to have taught and coached with you at Jackson.

I was on the football coaching staff at Portland State University (1980-85) and remember well our games with Puget Sound. Coach Simonson was always innovative and well prepared - a worthy opponent indeed! The Lord has added a hell of a coach to His staff for sure!

He was a man who we admired very much. He will be missed. Our prayers go to you Carolyn and the family.

I was fortunate to work with Ron during his service to the students of Portland Public Schools. Ron was a tremendous leader. His positive, can-do attitude was always very much appreciated and respected. Rest in peace Ron.
