I just wanted to say I'm sorry for your loss. I just learned about it as I left Portland for Texas in 2012.

Sorry to hear of your loss, your father was a very nice gentleman he treated my mom like family. My GOD bless the Tonkin family.

So sorry to learn about Ron. We knew him for so many years & he was such a lover of cars. As the president of nada it did a lot for all the dealers of Oregon & the country.

I just wanted to send my sympathies to the Tonkin brothers. I remember you & your Dad eating lunch at Foster's Deli, now Joseph's Deli, for the past several years. I always enjoyed serving your Dad lunch & visiting with him & Ed & Brad, too. Thanks for being good neighbors in Gateway & Parkrose.

I am so very sorry and saddened to learn of Ron's passing. He was a giant in my eyes. I have fond memories of our days in Portland and will never forget our Breakfast at Brennins together in New Orleans. My wife, Bevery, also sends her condolences and remembers that she and Ron share the same birthday. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
