I can remember hanging out with Ron at Tahoe School and playing whiffle ball for hours in the summer time. I saw Ron at a class Reunion a few years back and we had the opportunity to set down and talk about old times when we use to sneak into the Sound Factory on Alhambra Blvd and watch the Chambers Brothers. We talked for hours about Junior High and High School and just being friends. Little did I know that would be the last conversation that I would have with Ron? It was always nice to...

Chance meetings build strong bonds. I was fortunate to meet Ron from his love of motorcycles and his childhood chum Rich Rau. We, Rich and I visited Ron in June, a regular event that I will sorely miss.. He will be deeply missed, Quite a guy

Ron - I have such fond memories of you. Such a nice kind man. You will be missed. No words can express the loss your friends and family are feeling. I met you thru Paul Davis and I know he will be there to greet you. My prayers are with you. Diane Davis

Ronnie after a softball game in the 70's.
Almost fifty years of memories growing up with Ronnie. Hanging out with him & his pigeons in "the barn", as teens. Tagging Tahoe school w/ smoke bombs. Camping out in the foothills. Not a dull moment around Ronnie. I will miss his big heart. My thoughts & prayers are with his family.

Our "Brother" Ronnie - we love you and will miss you always. We were quite a wild group back in those Tahoe Park days as teens. Wish we could have seen you recently - love you! To Ron's family: Ronnie was such a nice guy - we will always think of him dearly and our hearts go out to you all.

I'm very sad. I went to elementary and middle school and played baseball with Ronnie at Tahoe Tallac. I'll never forget his zany sense of humor, his zest for life, and how he and the Viegas family welcomed me into their home all those years ago. Back then we loved Rock and Roll, so of course Ronnie got some of those three-cornered Paul Revere and the Raiders hats and we wore them all around the neighborhood looking silly. Another time he found some old clothes that looked like the nehru...
