Not sure what to say?

My father was in the wholesale food business and had known the Abdow brothers. He always came to our table to schmooze with Dad and catch up with the rest of us. He always saved me a piece of that wonderful strawberry pie. He never forgot a face and always had something amusing to tell us. I am so sorry for your loss.

My father, the late Bob Pritchard, football coach of WPI, fondly mentioned Ron and George often. He followed Ron's officiating career closely.

Ron hired me to flip burgers at Boston road Abdows in 1968. He was a good boss and a good man. One of my first jobs. RIP Mr Abdow.

I would like to express my heartfelt sympathies to the Abdow family. I enjoyed talking about our shared memories of Worcester Academy and being both Hilltoppers. Ron was always ready to help others. He will be missed by all. David Patrick Fleming

I want to send my sincere condolences to the Abdow family. It was through my brother-in-law, Ted Fleming, that I was fortunate to meet Ron. What a gentleman, a great listener and so kind. Rest in peace, my friend! Barbara Fleming

Ron was a hands-on owner, often seen clearing tables on busy days alongside the servers. When the restaurant shut down, he ensured his staff found new employment, demonstrating his care for his employees. I will forever remember him for his...

R.I.P. MY FRIEND

To the Abdow Family, My condolences on the passing of Mr. Abdow. We always enjoyed the Breakfast Bar at Abdow's on Sunday morning. My fondest memory of Ron was the day he stopped by Friendly's in West Springfield when I was the Manager there. He wanted to tour the new design that was open on Westfield St. He introduced me to Steve Marriott, who just happened to be "tagging" along. Thank You Ron for your service to so many. God Speed Sir.
