I am so sorry I missed Ron's passing. He hired me out of law school to work as a deputy attorney general in 1975. Since then he has been a lifelong friend, often calling one another about issues important to the state of Hawaii we both love. I was honored to succeed him as attorney general at which time he gave me valuable insights and advice. He left Hawaii a better place. I will forever miss Ron. RIP my friend.
