I was fortunate enough to know Ronnie from when he was at Burnside Motors, on the BLVD in East Hartford. My father was a frequent visitor there, and became friendly with Ronnie. He was really an institution at Burnside, keeping alot of things running on a daily basis. He was such a nice guy, and always willing to help. I met Ron through mutual friends while racing cars at Plainville Stadium. Favorite memory - The key to Ron's Chevy (55) fit Louis Lombardo's 58 Chevy. Sometimes while driving around and saw Louie's car - Ron would stop and move Louie's car a few spaces or across the street. Then we would sit and watch Louie's expressions when he went to get his car. We did this several times and never told Louie. Sorry for your loss.
