Not sure what to say?

Mr.Andes is why I became a school counselor! I went to him once in HS and told him I didn't want a foreign language class and he told me to take this other class because it was easy! My kind of guy. That stuck out to me so much and matched my personality so well, I became a career school guidance counselor myself. I only saw him one other time to write a college recommendation and he took care of it and barely asked me anything. Simple and quick. He was my inspiration without even knowing it.

Very happy memories of Mr. Andes! He was very kind, always had a smile. Thanks for being a great guidance counselor!

Mr. Andes was my guidance counselor when I attended Valley Forge 86-89. He was very friendly and took pride in his job. My friends and I remember him fondly. I found out while in school my father worked with Bernie at Penton Press in Berea for the life of that company and then some. My parents would socialize with Bernie and Millie on occasion. You could definitely tell they were brothers just by their kind demeanor. All are missed greatly. I pray your good memories bring you comfort.

I worked with Ron Andes in the Guidance Office in 1978. He was always so kind to me. He was such a great guy! My prayers and condolences are with his family.

Cathy and Brian. We are so sorry for your loss. Cousin Ronnie meant so much to our family. We loved being with him at family gatherings and his friendship and kindness meant so much to us and to our parents. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Richie and Jackie Harley

Ron was a fellow student at Rhodes High. I remember him as being so kind to everyone. I see by the other messages, that his kindness continued on during his entire life. The has lost someone special. God Bless his family during this time.

Cathy, we were so saddened to hear of your loss of your husband. Please know Ron and you are in our thoughts and prayers. Sending you a big hug. Love and prayers. Karen and Daniel Matt

High school would not have been the same without you, Mr. Andes! Many fond memories with your great humor and guidance. May you rest in paradise. My deepest condolences to the Andes family.

There are two educators who impacted my life more than they could ever imagine and Ron was one of them. To him, I mattered... 50 years later, I still remember and will never forget. Thank you Mr Ands!!!
