Not sure what to say?

Mr. Anello was my gym teacher at Ft.Mckinley. He was the tallest person I every met, I was 8 years old. That was in 1964. We talked many times and he ended up also teaching my kids at Meadowdale, we saw him many time at UD for the basketball games. He was a kind and loving man that gave so much to his students. He never forgot my name. I am now 70 and still think of him with a smile. He is missed. RIP

My thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Anello's family. Mr. Anello was my gym teacher at Meadowdale Elementary when I was in about 1st grade. (I'm 48 now). I was so afraid of him because he was so tall that my mother used to have to come sit in the gym while my class had gym class. I finally warmed up to him after a bit. He was so sweet and gentle with me. Such a great teacher. I never forgot him. So sorry about his passing.

A very memorable gym teacher at Stivers! RIP

Ron was a wonderful neighbor! He made me slow down to listen to his stories and give some advice I don’t know that he was even giving. I’ll treasure those moments and miss him greatly. My prayers are with the family.
