Ron is clearly loved by the many he touched, myself included.
How ever could someone find and bring joy to a dental visit? Ron did--he carried it gladly every time I saw him and he left it prominently in his wake. That was to know him/ experience him.
Ron is a sterling example of hope and promise. He faced his tough medical condition with steady resolve, like much he faced in life and work. Always ushering...

Although I live far away from Spokane now, I have thought of Ron often and always with a smile, because we went through Hamblen School, Sacajawea and LC, and he was always a good and kind classmate. I'm sorry he had been so sick, but I'm glad he found so much joy throughout his life ~

Ron and I were lifelong friends. I first met Ron when I was about 13. He was a friend to some neighbors on my block, and we immediately struck up a friendship. He was the reason that I bought my first motorcycle, and he taught me how to ride it. I can remember hill jumping on the lots behind his parents house on the South Hill in Spokane.
