Not sure what to say?

My brother and I were just talking about you related to Party in the Park and your involvement in it´s inception. You are remembered with fondness for your kindness and generosity.

Dear Ron, Hard to believe that almost 4 years have gone by since you have been gone. Such a fine and accomplished person you were in everything you did. You and the girls along with your mum Do-reen and my fabulous Uncle Bill were my favorite cousin destination. Just knowing that the Beefeaters would flow and my aunt's secret salad dressing would be in the mix of a visit , made my little kid self feel so much love at the Baloghs. Saying your name again today, you'll always be around. love, mel

Dear Ron, Saying your name out loud ,and wishing you were still here with all of us left behind. xoxoxo Mel

Another year gone by, yet still your spirit lives on in all of us who knew and loved you.

Rest peacefully dear Ron, knowing that there are many of us who remember you, what you shared, and how you changed lives. You are missed.

This past weekend we celebrated our 50 year high school reunion. I also celebrated all that Ron did and the legacy he left at Thomas W. Harvey High School. Ron provided leadership, direction, support and led fundraising through scholarships for numerous generations of Harvey alumni as a spring board to college. Ron left big tracks. Your spirit lives on! We are forever grateful.

Dear Ron, It is close to the time again when 2 years ago, I lost three family members within 6 months . Such a good person you were. I hope you and Bella are somewhere walking around the block with the warm sunshine on your face and a trail of biscuits to follow! love, cousin mel

As I am saying goodbye to my brother Keith today, I am thinking of Ron. As the youngest of the cousin bunch, I related to the "older kids" differently. Along with Ron's little sister Deb, we probably missed out on certain things. However, once you reach an age, the playing field is evened out and you can just talk to each other. Ron and I mostly kept tabs on each other at Christmas , and when I talked on the phone with him, it was always easy and such a pleasure. He was so kind. I don't know...

I have fond and vivid memories of HHS marching band and the passion “Mr. Balogh” had for teaching and making good music. He had a quiet demeanor and a strong sense of himself. He was always generous and kind. I am saddened by his passing. Heartfelt sympathy to all who loved him and will miss him, myself included. Rest peacefully Ron Balogh.
