It was a sad day when Ron and Carol left Birmingham for Memphis. Not only were they friends, but they were guiding examples of what a loving couple and parents should be. We are honored to have known them both and call them our friends. Ron will be missed by both of us.

When we started at Shades Crest Baptist almost 45 years ago, Ron and his wife Carol reached out to us to get involved with the Church Sunday School. During difficult times, they were always there lending a helping hand. His legacy of wonderful children and grandchildren speaks for the Godly man we know Ron to have been. Rest in Peace friend.
