Sending my condolences to Gus family, My sister (Natalie) and I grew up in Mary and Gus Daycare. I have so many found memories of them both. From walks/bike rides at celery flats, vacation bible school, trips to sams club, McDonalds, jump roping in the road and just being able to be a kid and play. Gus and Mary showed me the Christian way and started my faith journey. Gus was always willing to drive my sister and I to sunday morning church, sunday night church, awana, and Wednesday night...

When I was little I used to play with Ronnie and Carl. We grew up in the same neighborhood, and in those days the kids would play ball in the street. ...Elm Street, right next to Kirschenbauer's, who were always out there playing,too! Ronnie was always a very gentle soul.My sympathy to the family.
