Not sure what to say?

I knew Ron in HS...so sorry to hear of his passing

I was just remembering this AM as I was driving the time I was driving home from Seattle when my phone rang. Upon answering this familiar voice sad, "The speed limit Is 70. It doesn´t mean 75 . Caught! Melissa was right behind me in her truck doing 70. A cop ahead of me and behind me forced me to slow down. We all got off at the Ridgefield excited.. I was glad they turned right as I continued straight. Lots of horn blowing and waves. I went over the speed limit for the extra 10 minutes. ...

I met Ron at a leadership seminar over fifteen years ago. He was a dedicated, professional kind, gentleman with a great sense of humor, if you were quick enough to catch it. I did not have enough time to get to know him, but I know I would have been blessed by being his friend. Ron, so sorry you are not here anymore and I will cherish the times we worked together. Be blessed my friend.

He was on my interview board in 1993. After being hired I found his sense of humor very entertaining as he was quick witted. He had so much more to offer. Very sad to hear of his passing.

I'm sorry

I've known Ron and Ric since my teaching days at Hudson's Bay. They were wonderful, helpful students. They were dedicated to law enforcement, starting with the Sheriff's Explorer program. Later, at Hough Elementary I got to know their mom, Sharon. She was so proud of them. When a person so young dies it is such as shock and tragedy. I will always have fond memories of Ron's sense of humor and kindness.

Thanks for your service Ron, you did a great job for the county.

Prayers to Ron's family and his daughters that he loved and spoke of most often. You were the best, most professional and fun supervisor that I've ever had the pleasure to work for. Your leadership and friendship are missed by many of us each day. May you R.I.P.

RIP Ron. You are a great man whom I've always admired and respected. I will forever miss you and your friendship.
